Ordering Books by Mail
Browse our catalogue on the Search page or download the full book list there. When you've found what you want, just copy the book details & email us at dasabookcafe@yahoo.com. Please also include your shipping address with postal code and telephone number.

We'll confirm your order by email and give you the total (books + shipping). Transfer that amount to our Bangkok Bank account (details provided at confirmation), and we'll ship after payment clears.
Kerry Express — ships the same day if payment is received before 2:00 pm, otherwise the next business day.
Registered Thai Post — ships twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday. Payment must be confirmed before shipping day.
You may also arrange pickup with the delivery app of your choice.
We no longer offer Regular Thai Post or EMS.
Sorry, we do not accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, or any foreign currency. We also cannot send photos of individual books.
Selling Books for Cash
We cannot quote prices ahead of time — we need to examine each book. The price depends on condition, original list price, country of publication, and size/format. Typical ranges:
Standard "pocket" paperbacks: 10–50 baht. Larger "trade" paperbacks: 50–100 baht. Hardcovers and rare titles may command higher prices.
If you have a large number of books (100+), please call ahead or email us a list first. Depending on our cash flow and the time of year, we may not be able to accommodate large quantities at once.
When emailing a list, send it as an Excel or Word file, or paste it into the body of the email. Include author name, title, and whether the book is hardcover or oversize. We don't need ISBNs or publication dates (except for guidebooks). Please do not send photos, PDFs, or Google Docs.
Exchanging Books
Books bought from Dasa
Bring them back and we'll give you store credit of up to 50% of the price you paid — less if the condition has deteriorated. If you don't use all the credit the same day, we'll issue a credit note with no expiration date. You can also cash out the remaining balance at 20% less than the credit amount.
Books returned more than 6 months after purchase may not receive full exchange credit and may be declined if condition has worsened. Travel guidebooks are generally non-returnable.
Books not bought from Dasa
You can bring your own books for credit, but we buy selectively. We may decline titles we already have too many of, books in poor condition, photocopies, or editions that are hard to sell. Credit is typically about 10–20% of the original retail price and can be used for books, CDs, or coffee.
We do not offer 1-for-1 or 2-for-1 swaps. Each book is evaluated individually.
Music CDs
We also buy and sell secondhand music CDs. Cash prices typically range from 20–80 baht per disc, with higher prices for some multi-disc sets. Before bringing CDs to the shop, please email us a list of titles first.
All CDs are sold "as is." We cannot play them in the shop. CDs cannot be returned for cash refunds, but within 30 days you can exchange for half-price store credit.
